## Overview

The Trust Badges & Reassurance Blocks module (`dftrustbuilder`) lets you create reassurance blocks from a built-in library of 18 SVG icons, position them across 6 front-office areas with drag and drop, and manage per-language variants. Compatible with PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, multistore and multilingual.

On install, 4 sample blocks (secure payment, fast delivery, easy returns, made in EU) are created in 5 languages on the product reassurance area. Your store is dressed immediately.

## Installation

1. In the back office, go to **Modules > Module Manager > Upload a module**.
2. Upload the `dftrustbuilder-1.0.0.zip` file and click **Install**.
3. Click **Configure** to access the display settings and block management.

No theme modification is required: the module relies on standard front-office hooks.

## Display settings

The module configuration page holds the global settings applied to all blocks:

- **Style**: minimal (no frame), bordered (thin border), or card (white background with soft shadow).
- **Columns**: auto (adapts to available width), 2, 3, 4 or 6.
- **Alignment**: icon on the left, or centered with the icon above the text.
- **Icon size**: 12 to 128 pixels (32 px by default).
- **Icon color**: leave empty to inherit the theme text color.
- **Single column on mobile**: forces vertical stacking on narrow screens.

## Managing blocks

Click **Manage reassurance blocks** from the configuration page to open the blocks list.

### Creating a block

1. Click **Add new block**.
2. Pick an icon from the grid: secure payment, credit card, delivery truck, 24h clock, package, returns, warranty, made in EU, made in France, support, phone, chat, gift, reviews, eco-friendly, globe, satisfaction, deals.
3. Select the **display hook** (see below).
4. Fill in the title and subtitle for each language.
5. Optional: add a URL per language to make the whole block clickable, for example to your delivery CMS page.
6. Save. The block is appended at the last position.

### Available display areas

- **Product reassurance** (displayReassurance): under the buy button on the product page — the recommended area.
- **Homepage** (displayHome).
- **Below header, full width** (displayNavFullWidth).
- **Above footer** (displayFooterBefore): visible site-wide.
- **Product additional info** (displayProductAdditionalInfo).
- **Cart footer** (displayShoppingCartFooter).

### Reordering with drag and drop

In the blocks list, grab the arrows in the **Position** column and drag the row. The order is saved automatically.

Use the **Hook** filter at the top of the column to show only the blocks of one area and reorder that location precisely.

## Per-language variants

Each block carries a title, a subtitle and a link **per language**. Two use cases:

- **Translation**: simply fill in the copy in each language tab.
- **Per-language visibility**: leave the title **empty** in a language to hide the block for that language only. Example: a made in France badge with the hexagon icon visible only in French, and a made in EU badge for the other languages.

The title is only required in the store default language. All other languages can remain empty.

## Multistore

In a multistore context, each block can be associated with one or more stores through the **Shop association** box of the form. Display settings (style, columns, colors) follow the PrestaShop configuration context.

## Troubleshooting

- **Blocks do not show**: check that the block is enabled, that its hook matches an area actually rendered by your theme, and that the title is filled in for the language you are browsing.
- **The reassurance area does not appear on the product page**: some custom themes do not call displayReassurance. Use displayProductAdditionalInfo or displayFooterBefore instead.
- **Icons are invisible or the wrong color**: by default they inherit the text color. Set an explicit color in the configuration if your theme uses very light text.
- **Drag and drop does not work**: make sure the list is sorted by the Position column (the default sort).
