# Change Product Variant in Cart for PrestaShop 8 & 9: Edit Size and Color Without Removing the Product

> The customer picked the wrong size or cannot decide between two colors: instead of removing the product and going back to its page, they change the combination right in the cart. Quantity and line position are kept, and the stock of the new combination is checked server side before the swap.
