DataFirefly Payment Fees lets you apply extra fees to each payment method in your PrestaShop 8 or 9 store. Pass on the real cost of a payment type (cash on delivery, cheque, bank wire, card…) or steer your customers toward the option that costs you the least.

The module is built around a complete **rules engine**: fees as a **fixed amount and/or percentage**, tax-excluded or tax-included calculation base with or without shipping, **minimum and maximum caps** and a **free threshold**. Each rule is finely targeted by **customer group**, billing **country**, **currency** and **cart total range**, with a priority system (the first matching rule applies).

Fees are **shown to the customer during checkout**, next to each payment method, then **added automatically to the order** on validation: totals, invoice and confirmation email are updated, and the tax-excluded/included breakdown is kept for your accounting. **VAT** handled via a configurable tax rule, with **multistore** and **multilingual** support.
