# No Search Results Page PrestaShop 8/9: Rescue Page and Product Alerts

Every search that returns "no results" is a sale slipping away: the visitor expressed a precise buying intent and the store answers with a dead end. The No Search Results module replaces that empty page with a rescue page. An unknown reference (M91650-0005) shows the products of the same family (M91650-0001, M91650-0002). A typo is corrected against your search index, an overly long query is shortened, then come the best sellers of the guessed category and, as a last resort, your best sellers. The module also handles searches that PrestaShop's native fuzzy search "saves" with unrelated products.

In the back office, every lost search is counted and ranked by volume. You map it to a product, a category, a URL or a synonym, as a suggestion or a redirect, with exact, "contains" or wildcard rules: a single M91650* rule covers a whole family of references. Rules can be imported from CSV. The dashboard measures the rescue rate and the revenue of orders placed after a rescue. A GDPR opt-in "notify me" form captures the visitor's email, and a scheduled task emails them as soon as their search finds a product. No Composer, no framework, compatible with PrestaShop 8 and 9 and multistore.
