A shop's homepage lives at the pace of your commercial calendar: new catalog, shipping offer, promotion of the month. This module gives you a full hero grid, the kind you see on major e-commerce sites: a main slider, two banners stacked on the right and two wide banners underneath. Every visual is managed from a dedicated back office tab: image per language, link, alt text, position, and a start and end date range to schedule campaigns in advance. An expired banner disappears on its own, with no manual step and no cache clearing.

Where most sliders wreck your PageSpeed score, this one was built for the opposite. Images are resized and converted to WebP on upload, the first slide is preloaded with fetchpriority high for an instant LCP, everything else is lazy loaded, and width and height attributes eliminate CLS. The slider runs on 3 KB of vanilla JavaScript loaded with defer, no jQuery, no external library. Rendering is cached in Smarty with a single SQL query, and a dedicated mobile image can replace each slide and each banner under 768 px. You can even disable entire zones on mobile: hidden images are then never downloaded.
