About us

Built by people who write the code.

No marketing department, no growth hacks, no SaaS subscription. Modules sold once, supported in person, in your language, by the same hands that built them.

Why we exist

E-commerce code should outlive the people who write it.

Most online shops run on top of code that no one signs. Modules pulled from marketplaces, freelancers who came and went, themes that bend until they break — until one day a critical update lands and the whole stack groans. We have spent ten years cleaning that up for clients we eventually became friends with.

DataFirefly is the catalogue we wished existed back then. A small set of modules that we maintain — really maintain — over years, with documentation, with someone on the other end of the email, in your language. We say no to twenty things a week to keep this true.

We are deliberately small. We sell modules once. We push code that another developer can read. We answer support emails. That is the entire pitch.

Notre méthode

Three things we never compromise.

Code another dev can read

Hooks documented, tests where it matters, no clever tricks. The next person who opens the module — even if it is not us — should not pull their hair.

Support that respects you

Within 1 business day, in your language, by someone technical. No tier-1 reading from a script, no "have you tried turning it off and on again".

Pricing that ages well

You buy the module once. Twelve months of compatibility updates included. Renewal at a reduced price if you want to stay current. No mandatory subscriptions.

Our expertises

What we actually build.

Three platforms, several flavours of work. Pick the closest match — each page tells you exactly how we operate, what we charge and what we deliver.

Milestones

A short history.

  1. 2014

    First PrestaShop module

A small payment connector for a French merchant. Still maintained today.

  2. 2017

    50 modules in catalogue

The catalogue takes shape — modules pulled from real client work, not synthetic ideas.

  3. 2019

    Shopware 6 expertise

We start working on Shopware 6 the year it launches. Most agencies are still on 5 — we bet on the new architecture.

  4. 2022

    Multi-language support

EN / FR / ES / DE on every module, every page, every email. Custom translation infrastructure.

  5. 2024

    300+ modules

PrestaShop, WordPress / WooCommerce, Shopware. Same team, same standards.
