Built by people who write the code.

Certifications

Officially certified by PrestaShop.

DataFireFly is a PrestaShop Certified Agency for 2026, and our team holds the PrestaShop Expert certification (Core Skills). Both are awarded by PrestaShop itself.

Why we exist

E-commerce code should outlive the people who write it.

Most online shops run on top of code that no one signs. Modules pulled from marketplaces, freelancers who came and went, themes that bend until they break — until one day a critical update lands and the whole stack groans. We have spent ten years cleaning that up for clients we eventually became friends with.

DataFirefly is the catalogue we wished existed back then. A small set of modules that we maintain — really maintain — over years, with documentation, with someone on the other end of the email, in your language. We say no to twenty things a week to keep this true.

We are deliberately small. We sell modules once. We push code that another developer can read. We answer support emails. That is the entire pitch.

How we work

Three things we never compromise.

Code another dev can read

Hooks documented, tests where it matters, no clever tricks. The next person who opens the module — even if it is not us — should not pull their hair.

Support that respects you

Within 1 business day, in your language, by someone technical. No tier-1 reading from a script, no "have you tried turning it off and on again".

Pricing that ages well

You buy the module once. Twelve months of compatibility updates included. Renewal at a reduced price if you want to stay current. No mandatory subscriptions.

The team

The people who write your modules.

When you email support, this is who replies. No outsourcing, no pyramid.

Portrait of Sasha

Sasha El Mogherbi

Co-founder of DataFirefly

Before the data, there was the field. Sasha took merchants to market on international marketplaces and sold their overstock — the raw reality of online retail, with its constraints on margin, stock and listings. That is where a core conviction took shape: a strategy is only worth something if it solves a real problem and turns into measurable results. He brought that standard to digital marketing and performance, which he practises as a consultant through his firm Dotsland: campaign architecture on the Google Marketing Platform (Search Ads 360, Display & Video 360, Campaign Manager 360), server-side tracking and CAPI, data analysis, cross-channel attribution and consent compliance (GDPR). Certified expertise, but above all hands-on — from strategic framing through to execution. That mindset is DataFirefly's DNA: pragmatic solutions to problems met in the field, not theoretical concepts. Every solution is tested and proven in real conditions, on real e-commerce operations, before being industrialised and offered to brands. The DataFirefly suite — AI-driven ad optimisation, data infrastructure, visibility in generative search engines, compliance — is born exactly that way: from a concrete problem, a test, a proof. Two hats: an operator from the field and a product builder. Understanding the problem because you have lived it, then delivering the tool that solves it at scale. Certified Google Search Ads 360 · Display & Video 360 · Campaign Manager 360 · Google Data Analyst · Generative AI · Didomi (GDPR) · HubSpot — Master's in Strategic & Operational Digital Marketing

Portrait of Alexandre Navaeian, founder of DataFirefly

Alexandre Navaeian

Co-founder of DataFirefly

Before the catalogue, there were the shops. Alex has been running his own e-commerce sites for more than ten years — PrestaShop first, then Shopware 6 and WordPress / WooCommerce — in markets as different as B2B furniture, e-books and cosmetics. The raw reality of the trade: a site that has to hold up on a Friday evening during the sales, an ERP connector that cannot afford to lose a single order line, a major update that has to be absorbed without breaking production. That ground is where the first conviction came from: a module is only worth something if it survives the next update. He carried that standard into building e-commerce extensions, which he ships across the three platforms in the catalogue: PHP / Symfony / Twig on the server, Vue.js on the front end, MySQL and advanced SQL for real-world volumes. PrestaShop 1.7 / 8 / 9 module architecture, native Shopware 6 plugins (services, subscribers, Twig storefront, build pipeline), HPOS-compatible WordPress / WooCommerce extensions, payment and ERP integrations, performance (Core Web Vitals, N+1 queries, caching), compliance (GDPR, MiCA), multilingual (Polylang, Symfony Translator) and structured data. Full-stack expertise, but above all hands-on — on his own shops before being offered to other merchants. That mindset is DataFirefly's DNA on the code side: every module in the catalogue first solved a real problem on a real shop before being generalised. No feature added because it “would look good on the product page”. No shortcut that saves two hours at release only to cost ten at the next upgrade. Documented hooks, clean namespaces, tests where they genuinely protect, compatibility maintained over the years. The code we write is code we would accept to take over from another developer — because that is exactly what we do every week on our own sites. Two hats: merchant and module author. Writing code knowing what it costs the merchant when something breaks on a Saturday night. PrestaShop 1.7 / 8 / 9 · Shopware 6.5 / 6.6 / 6.7 · WordPress / WooCommerce — PHP · Symfony · Twig · Vue.js · SQL · Core Web Vitals · Polylang · OAuth2 / JWT — Running online shops since 2014
