Shopware developer

Shopware developer

Shopware 6 by a team that publishes its own plugins.

Storefront and Administration plugins, version migrations, connectors, performance. Symfony, Twig, Vue.js and the DAL mastered, with 32 Shopware 6 extensions published in our catalogue.

Shopware 6 is a modern and demanding platform: Symfony and the DAL abstraction layer on the server side, Twig for the Storefront, Vue.js for the administration, and a rules and flows system that changes with every minor version. A developer who discovers Shopware on your project will do so at your expense. We publish our own Shopware 6 plugins and maintain them from one version to the next.

What a Shopware developer does for you

Storefront plugins

CMS elements for Shopping Experiences, product page blocks, JavaScript plugins, checkout customisation. Templates extend the theme templates without copying them, so they keep up with updates. The details are on the custom Shopware 6 plugin development page.

Administration plugins

Vue.js modules for your teams: filterable listings, bulk actions, tracking screens, with Shopware’s native access rights.

Rules, flows and data

Custom entities, Rule Builder conditions, Flow Builder actions, scheduled tasks. Heavy processing goes through the message queue so the store stays fast.

Version migrations

Every minor version of Shopware 6 can break plugins. We audit your installation, prepare the fixes and migrate on a copy. See our article Shopware 6.6 to 6.7 migration: checklist and pitfalls.

Connectors and performance

ERP, CRM, carriers and payment, as well as category page speed and indexing. See also our Shopware B2B and Shopware maintenance pages.

Our Shopware development rules

What affects the price

Our quotes start at €2,000 and stay fixed once the scope is approved:

Factor Impact
Storefront or administration A CMS element is quick; a full administration module takes several days.
Data Creating entities and their migrations adds work compared with custom fields.
External integration Each third-party system adds error handling, retries and tests.
Versions Covering 6.6 and 6.7 requires more testing than targeting a single version.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a Shopware developer cost?

We work on a fixed-price basis, from €2,000 for a plugin or a defined project. The fixed quote arrives within 24h of the scoping call.

Do you work on Shopware 5?

No. Shopware 5 is no longer maintained; we only develop for Shopware 6 and recommend migrating.

Can you migrate my store to Shopware 6.7?

Yes. We audit the installed plugins, fix or replace the ones that fall short, then migrate on a copy before going live.

Are your plugins compatible with Shopware SaaS?

A standard plugin cannot be installed on Shopware SaaS, which works with apps. We clarify this during scoping and quote for an adapted version if needed.

Can you connect Shopware to my ERP?

Yes, through the Admin API or through a plugin that processes exchanges as asynchronous messages, so the store does not slow down. Every exchange is logged.

Do I own the code?

Yes. You receive the plugin, its source code and its documentation, with 12 months of compatibility updates.

How long does a Shopware plugin take?

Two to four weeks for most plugins; a connector or a full administration module can take longer. The timeline is written into the quote.
