A detailed look at how Page Builder for Shopware 6.7 – Visual Page Editor works, why we built it the way we did, and the thinking behind the features above.

§ 01

A real page builder, independent from the native CMS

Shopware's Shopping Experiences remain limited for marketing teams. DataFirefly Page Builder is a standalone editor with its own storefront rendering engine: compose pages with sections and columns, add blocks via drag & drop, and the page is served at /p/your-slug through Shopware's HTTP cache — fast and indexable.

§ 02

Blocks built to sell

Product block with live price and working add-to-cart, multi-column product listings, countdowns for your campaigns, contact or lead-capture forms with built-in anti-spam and mandatory GDPR consent. YouTube and Vimeo videos load behind a consent facade: no data sent to third parties without a visitor click.

§ 03

A serious editorial workflow

Every page has a draft distinct from its published version: edit a live page without affecting the public, preview via a shareable signed link, then publish all languages at once — or schedule publication. Every publish creates a history version.

§ 04

SEO and URLs under control

Meta title and description per language, unique slug auto-generated from the page name, and 301 redirects created automatically when a slug changes: no ghost pages, no lost SEO equity.

§ 05

Built for developers too

Clean DAL architecture (6 dedicated entities), versioned JSON content, systematic server-side HTML sanitisation, ACL privileges, and an extensible block registry: add your own blocks with a simple companion plugin.
