A real app, without the App Store
DataFirefly PWA turns your PrestaShop store into an installable Progressive Web App. Customers add your store to their home screen in one gesture and launch it full-screen like a native app, with no download, no App Store review and no mobile development cost. The module ships valid PWA icons, so the store is installable from the first minute, shows an install banner at the right moment and guides iOS users, for whom installation goes through Safari's share menu. A built-in back-office diagnostic checks, point by point, the conditions Chrome requires.
§ 02
Push notifications that bring customers back
Compose your campaigns in the back office with a banner image and up to two action buttons, schedule them for the date you want, and target by language, customer group, device or visitor type. Sends go through a queue processed in batches: a base of tens of thousands of subscribers causes no timeout and no distorted statistics. The history shows the click-through rate campaign by campaign, and subscribers export to CSV.
§ 03
Four automations working for you
Order tracking notifies the customer at every status you choose. Abandoned-cart recovery brings them back before they forget. Back-in-stock and price-drop alerts fire on the products they followed themselves, without needing an account, with a minimum discount threshold you set. A welcome notification confirms every opt-in.
§ 04
The customer stays in control
From their account, the customer picks the categories they want to receive: order updates, product alerts, cart reminders, offers and news. Everything is on by default, their choice applies to all their devices and overrides automated sends. On the shop side, you define quiet hours and a daily notification cap per device, which transactional messages never consume. Deleting a customer account erases subscriptions, alerts and queued messages.
§ 05
Offline mode and complete independence
A service worker registered at root scope keeps your store reachable on unstable connections, with the cache strategy of your choice and an elegant fallback page when the connection drops. Sensitive pages (cart, checkout, account) are always excluded from the cache. VAPID encryption is handled entirely in native PHP: no third-party service, no subscription, no data leaving your server.
