§ 01
The problem
One out-of-stock item and the whole order sits blocked. The customer waits, your fulfilment waits, satisfaction drops. You could ship the available items right away, but doing it by hand, order after order, is unmanageable day to day.
§ 02
The solution
At validation, the module analyses the stock actually available, ships what can ship immediately and automatically moves the rest to a backorder. Two clean orders, linked by the same reference, without any manual work on your side.
§ 03
A precise stock split
The module determines, line by line and combination by combination, the shippable quantity from the real stock shortage. A 5-item line with 3 in stock can be split into 3 shipped and 2 backordered, or moved entirely to the backorder depending on your setting. The calculation stays accurate even for a split launched days after validation, once stock has moved.
§ 04
Manual split, on demand
On every order page, a panel shows product by product the ordered quantity, the current stock and the suggested backorder quantity. You adjust each line freely and launch the split in one click, even when the automatic split is disabled. An already-split order can never be split twice.
§ 05
Accounting that adds up
Products, shipping, discounts, wrapping, weight and the VAT breakdown are recomputed to the cent: the two orders add up exactly to the original order, taxes included. Shipping stays on the shippable order and the backorder can be delivered free of charge. Payment, aggregated by reference, reconciles natively. The split is atomic: on failure everything rolls back, never a half-split order.
§ 06
The customer informed at every step
On the confirmation page, a block lists the items that will ship separately, with a reminder of the shared reference and the shipping paid only once, whatever your theme. An email in the customer's language (6 languages included) announces the shipment in several parts.

Built for PrestaShop 8 and 9
PSR-4 architecture without Composer, no override, admin controller compatible with PS8 and PS9. Virtual products and Advanced Stock Management excluded automatically. A dedicated order state, a panel linking both orders in the back office and full logging.
