The problem
A single out-of-stock item and the whole order is stuck. The customer waits, your fulfilment waits, satisfaction drops. You could ship the available items right away, but doing it by hand, order by order, is unmanageable day to day.
The solution
At the validation of every order, the module analyses the real available stock, ships immediately what can be shipped and automatically places the rest on backorder. Two clean orders, linked by the same reference, with no action on your side.
Precise stock splitting
The module reconstructs the pre-order physical stock to determine, line by line and combination by combination, the shippable quantity. A line of 5 items with 3 in stock can be split into 3 shipped and 2 backordered, or moved entirely to backorder depending on your setting.
Accounting that adds up
Products, shipping, discounts, wrapping and weight are recalculated to the cent: the sum of the two orders strictly equals the original order. Shipping stays on the shippable order and the backorder can be delivered free. Payment, aggregated by reference, reconciles natively.
Built for PrestaShop 8 and 9
PSR-4 architecture without Composer, no override, an admin controller compatible with PS8 and PS9. Virtual products and Advanced Stock Management excluded automatically. A dedicated order state, a panel linking both orders in the back office and full logging.
