What this module does
Social proof is one of the most effective conversion levers in e-commerce. By showing how many visitors have already added a product to their cart, you reassure the hesitant buyer and create a legitimate sense of scarcity. Cart Popularity automates this message on every product page, from your real cart data.
A reliable and honest count
The module queries the carts containing the product directly, deduplicates per cart and limits the count to the current shop in a multistore context. You can restrict the count to recent carts via the time window, and exclude carts already turned into orders to reflect only active demand.
Two ways to display the number
Tier mode rounds the counter down for an "In 20+ carts" effect that stays credible and evolves in brackets. Exact mode shows the real figure for stores that prefer full transparency. The text is fully customizable and translatable, with a reserved placeholder for the number.
Designed for performance
A dedicated cache stores the count result with a lifetime you set. Product pages therefore do not trigger a counting query on each display, which preserves performance even on high-traffic stores. The cache is cleared automatically whenever the settings change.

Module developed with no Composer dependency, server-side rendering and no external JavaScript library. Native configuration page, compatible with PrestaShop 8 and 9, and shipped with French, English, Spanish, German and Italian translations.
